Empowering Cambodian Youth: A Multi-Channel Campaign
Marie Stopes Cambodia, a leader in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services, set out to address a critical gap in awareness about family planning among young people. As the Social Media Strategist, I played a pivotal role in shaping the campaign’s digital presence, collaborating closely with the offline team to deliver a cohesive multi-channel campaign that inspired informed action and drove meaningful change.
>>Context
Marie Stopes Cambodia aimed to increase awareness of family planning, contraception, and SRH services among youth—a demographic often underserved in such initiatives.
>>Solution
Together, we developed a multi-channel communication campaign designed to boost Marie Stopes’ visibility while equipping young people with essential knowledge and access to resources.
>>Key initiatives included:
1. Social Media Activation: I led the digital strategy, crafting engaging content that resonated with youth on Facebook.
2. Community-Based Events: The offline team hosted in-person gatherings, providing safe and interactive spaces for learning.
3. Interactive Materials: Resources like the “Get Ready” Kit featured games and tools to make learning accessible and engaging.
>>Results
The campaign achieved remarkable impact:
3.5 Million Reach on Facebook
271,000+ Engagements
10,000+ Inbound Calls
By integrating digital and offline strategies, the campaign connected with millions and empowered young Cambodians to take charge of their reproductive health.
