Amplifying Human Rights Advocacy Through Influencer Activation and Digital Strategy
I spearheaded the digital strategy for a UNHCR human rights advocacy event, with a focus on influencer activation to amplify the campaign’s reach and impact.
Key Contributions:
>Influencer Activation Strategy:
Developed and executed a targeted influencer activation plan, collaborating with key opinion leaders and social media influencers to promote the event. The influencers helped spread awareness of human rights issues, engaging their audiences with tailored content and calls to action.
>Event Promotion & Communication:
Managed the digital communications for the event, leveraging social media platforms to generate buzz and encourage participation. This included creating engaging content and coordinating with influencers to drive traffic and engagement.
>Audience Reach & Engagement:
By reaching 1.7M users on Facebook, the event successfully attracted 6K attendees through influencer partnerships and digital promotion, increasing public awareness and participation in the advocacy campaign. The use of influencers helped to create a broader conversation around human rights issues, extending the campaign’s impact beyond the event itself.
By utilising influencers and strategic communication efforts, the event fostered meaningful engagement and contributed to UNHCR’s ongoing human rights advocacy initiatives.
